Last month we had sent a wet granulation machine to a customer. After his materials have been granulated, It can be compressed normally. But recently he has new troubles cuz the thickness of the tablet is a little thinner than what he want although the pill press has been adjusted to the maximum filling level. So we suggested that he change the screen with a smaller mesh of tablet granulation machine to make small size particles. Now he can already press the thicker tablets. If you also have the same problem as him, Keep in mind that granules with small sizes could be pressed into a more thicker tablet by pill press than the large sizes granules. The screen can be free to change and we recommend using a 20-60 mesh screen for granulation pharmaceutical, Because the granules if too small will make the materials getting a bad fluidity. And too large the tablet even can’t be pressed into a solid tablet. If this does not solve your problem, You may need to consider changing a tablet press.
